In June 2006 the FOREVER GOLDEN ENDOWMENT FUND was established in an effort to insure the financial stability of Golden Rescue in Naples, Inc.  The principal of the fund will be used only in the case of an emergency and the interest generated will be used for routine ongoing operating expenses.  Our initial goal was to raise $25,000, which would enable us to obtain an equal amount from two anonymous donors who pledged to match the first $25,000 we collected.  They gave us until May 31, 2007 to do it.  We are proud to say “Mission Accomplished”.

Many friends and volunteers of GRIN, Inc. were determined that the good work of the rescue should continue into the future …. their response has been overwhelming.  A “thank you” is not adequate for these generous and devoted supporters.  These people have allowed our rescue to continue to assist goldens in need now and in the future.  There will always be an overwhelming number of goldens in need and with the goals in place, we hopefully can assure that the dogs will always get help from Golden Rescue in Naples, Inc.
