GRINinc. REUNION 2011

A Golden Day !!

GRINinc's 6th annual reunion was held on Saturday, Feb 5 ,2011 . It was a beautiful day for our event. We had 90+ people and 70+ dogs. Among our attendees were our "GRIN friends " ... Dr. Stacey Huber and Andrea Balogh from Animal Oasis Veterinary Hospital, Sharon Seevers from Goodness for Pets , Lauren Carlysle a massage therapist and jewelry designer, Melanie Pentecost...adopter of two GRIN dogs and jewelry designer, Dianne Schuette an animal communicator and healer through acupressure, Donna Sanders , a Reiki Master for animals and Charlie Martin a designer of outdoor lifts and elevators big enough to hold Golden Retrievers!

Our day was quite busy. We had a parade followed by photos of your golden, we had a old fashioned cookout, we had a raffle filled with great prizes and we honored Harley Guise, our GRINinc golden, for being the oldest golden/longest time in a forever home and Roxy Pelletier, GRINinc golden, for traveling all the way from South Carolina to attend the reunion!

This is the second year "Laurie's Golden Acres" has hosted our reunion. The generosity and hospitality of the Jeremias Family... Laurie, Matt, Matthew and their goldens Marley, Molson and Scooby gave our attendees a unique opportunity to enjoy the Naples "country life" away from the hustle bustle of our busy town. We enjoyed the freedom to roam the property, the beautiful Florida sunshine and the clean, fresh air . We thank you Laurie , Matt and Matthew for opening your home to our special GRINinc family. Also many thanks to the reunion committee who gave so much of their time and talents to make this reunion a success. They are Marcia Martin, Charlie Martin, Brenda Sites, Larry Katz, Linc Hay, Jon Hay, Dianne Kabala, Stan Kabala, Jane Catalano, Pat Jolly, Chris Burgner, Georgia Cloey, Sandy Green, Betsy Lane , Pat Metro and Mary Ellen Metro.
