A good time was had by all at "Laurie's Golden Acres". Our Fifth Annual Reunion featured a rescue parade, prizes, games, raffle items, a gourmet lunch and photos of rescue dogs and their families.

Many thanks to everyone who took time out of their busy Saturday to attend and to all who braved the unusually cool or should I say cold weather! Our rescue committee consisted of Marcia Martin, Chris Burgner, Georgia Cloey, Dianne Kabala, Laurie Jeremias, Jane Catalano, and myself. Thank you to all. Also a special thank you to all the additional volunteers who came early to help. They are Charlette Quercia, Marcy Lang, Charlie Martin, Pat Jolly, Brenda and Larry Sites. To all the businesses who so graciously donated items and services for our raffle and silent auction, we appreciate your generosity and because of you our rescue made over $1300! We would be remiss not to mention the special talents of a small group of people who added those unique touches .....Marcia Martin, Marcy Lang, our gourmet chefs who prepared our gourmet bag lunches, (both recipes come from www.foodtv.com. Caesar Club Sandwich by Barefoot Contessa and Picnic Caponata sandwich by Giada De Laurenti), the many that provided delicious desserts, Marcy Lang and Charlie Martin who provided each adopter with a beautiful photo of their dog, Brenda Sites and Larry Katz who put together our doggie party bags, Jane and Frank Catalano, the Artists of the Day who designed the beautiful name tag keepsakes for each dog, Chris Burgner and her Mom Georgia Cloey who patiently sat in the cold wind at the registration table...giving a very WARM welcome to everyone they met, our "photographers" Jon Hay, Terri Recknor, and Clara Sweet who provided the photos you are about to view ...... and there are no words to describe the depth of our gratitude to the Jeremias Family, Laurie, Matt, Matthew, and their goldens Molson, Marley and Scooby. Your hospitality, dedication, enthusiasm ,support and your beautiful property allowed GRINinc to have the very best reunion ever!!!!!!!
