Mission Statement of GRINinc.
Golden Rescue In Naples, Inc. is an all volunteer, 501(c)(3),
funding rescue devoted to assisting seniors and special needs
Golden Retrievers being treated and rehabilitated by registered
501(c)(3) Golden Retriever Rescues throughout the State of Florida.
Golden Rescue
in Naples, Inc. is in transition. We remain a 501(c)(3) organization
that will continue to assist special needs and senior Golden
Retrievers in a new and different way! Please read our mission
statement above. GRINinc will continue to raise donations in
order to accomplish our goals.

BEAUTIFUL RETRIEVERS
NEED A HOME TOGETHER
 Isabella...what
a beautiful name...befitting for this beautiful
golden girl. Sweet and loving is her nature.
Laid back and sure of her surroundings....Isabella
is a 7 year old golden that is looking for a new
home. Her current owner loves her very much but
finds that there is just not enough time in the day
to give her attention and exercise. Isabella is the
epitome of a early senior golden. She is in good
health, enjoys activity but is very calm and laid
back. Her house manners are EXCELLENT.! She
walks well on a leash, gets along with kids, cats,
other dogs...everyone that meets Isabella loves her
and she loves them. Her favorite thing to do is roll
over and get belly rubs. She is just an adorable
girl.She is ready to
go to her new home...but wait....she has a companion
that needs to go with her......his name is Hielo..
Hielo is a male chocolate Labrador Retriever. A
gentle giant .... a chocolate lab that is so mellow,
so loving and very handsome. His yellow eyes
show nothing by kindness and love. Hielo is 10 yrs
young!! Hielo, like Isabella has amazing house
manners and walks wonderfully well on a leash. He
loves everyone ... cats, kids, other dogs
too....nothing phases Hielo. Isabella and Hielo must,
absolutely must, be placed together. ...they are one
...they depend on each other. Hielo and
Isabella get along famously...never a word between
them ....it's really so easy being around them as
they just blend in and accept whatever life
offers...as long as they are together. Please
consider two very laid back, well behaved
retrievers.... TOGETHER is the only way we can place
them in a new home...TOGETHER THEY WILL STAY
FOREVER. If you would like more information on

We want
to make a difference in the lives of senior and special needs
goldens. Won't you help us help them!!? GRINinc will continue to
need donations in order to carry out our mission. Donations
will go to assisting seniors and special needs goldens
throughout the state of Florida. GRINinc also has seniors that
will remain under GRINinc's care for the remainder of their
lives. GRINinc is responsible for all medical care for our
permanent fosters. Remember that your donation is tax
deductible.

WRAPPING FOR GOLD 2009
GRINinc's devoted members and
their goldens put some time aside to participate for the second
year in Wrapping For Gold. Volunteers for GRINinc
wrapped presents during the holiday season at Books A Million,
Mercato in Naples. It was a VERY successful event and a nice
way to socialize during the holiday season. The goldens brought
smiles to almost everyone who came into the store and donations
were abound even if they didn't have a present to wrap! Enjoy
some photos of this year's Wrapping For Gold.

!!!
GRINinc. is pleased to introduce a new endeavor for the
betterment of our beloved golden retriever. One of our
very dedicated rescue volunteers has eagerly started a new
rescue to assist displaced goldens of all ages, primarily in the
Charlotte County Florida area and neighboring areas when the
need arises.

A Poem for The Precious Golden Oldies
With still so many sunrises and sunsets
yet to enjoy;
Would love to spend them with you, my tennis ball
and maybe a favorite toy.
You know…someone no longer wanted me,
and decided to just give me up;
Was it because I was no longer a
fuzzy, yellow pup?
I'm so proud to be a precious Golden Oldie, and
that fact is very true;
With so much love yet to give…can I spend my
"golden" years with you?
It would be heavenly to rest my head upon your lap,
with your arms enfolding me;
And once again feel safe and loved, with us
just sitting under a majestic, old tree.
I've come such a long way…and my journey has been
extremely hard;
Would love to just sit by your side, or peacefully roam
around in the yard.
So won't you please adopt me soon, and my "new life's
story"
can begin to unfold;
For as we all know, there is nothing quite as nice,
as precious old gold!

I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter...
the cast-offs of human society....I saw in their eyes love
and hope, fear and dread, sadness and betrayal. And I was
angry.
"God," I said, "this is terrible! Why don't you do
something?"
God was silent for a moment, and then He spoke softly.
